The HIC Center contributes to regional development advancement for heritage, indigenous culture. Recognize the role of people in identifying, managing, protecting, and presenting tourism, heritage, and culture through conservation and creation of values from cultural heritage.

VISION

Heritage and Indigenous Culture Regional Development Center contributes to the advancement of regional development of heritage, indigenous culture. Recognizing the role of peoples in identifying, managing, protecting and presenting tourism, heritage, and culture through conservation and by creating values from cultural heritage.

By creatively harnessing and preserving heritage and indigenous, HICC will make known to region and the entire country our future as the leading cultural nation.

1. Establish the base for conservation and management of cultural heritage by enhancing the quality of heritage policy and research and training specialists in the field of cultural heritage.

2. Enhance the quality of conservation and management of cultural heritage in order to increase the tourism’s social, historical and economic values of cultural heritage

3. Expand the value of our cultural heritage domestically and internationally by increasing opportunities for the appreciation of the region’s heritage and indigenous culture.

MISSION

Heritage and Indigenous Culture Regional Development Center was established to safeguard, conserve and promote the indigenous culture, heritage and tourism in Regional III anchored to the Sustainable Development Goal by involving indigenous peoples in the identification, conservation and management of cultural heritage.

GOALS

Heritage and Indigenous Culture Regional Development Center aims to provide support for conservation and management of cultural heritage through collaboration and partnership in ensuring the right protection of State-designated Cultural Heritage in the Region.

Our Services

  1. Establishes the base for conservation and management of cultural heritage by enhancing the quality of heritage policy in the Region.
  2. Research collaboration concerning Cultural Heritage with other Academic Institutions, Local Government Units, Tourism Offices and Non-Government Organizations.
  3. Partnerships through Memorandum of Understanding and Memorandum of Agreement for the Cultural Heritage and Tourism with other Academic Institutions, Local Government Units, Tourism Offices and Non-Government Organizations.
  4. Provides Trainings in the field of Cultural Heritage.
  5. Provides support for conservation and management of cultural heritage through collaboration and partnership in ensuring the right protection of State-designated Cultural Heritage in the Region.
  6. Enhances the quality of conservation and management of cultural heritage in order to increase the tourism’s social, historical and economic values of cultural heritage in the Region.
  7. Expands the value of cultural heritage domestically and internationally by increasing opportunities for the appreciation of the region’s heritage and indigenous culture through as aide in Tourism tangible heritage development.

  2. Archive Data Bank of United Architects of the Philippines Members Research outputs.
  3. Digital Bulacan State University Historically Informative Campus Map as visitor’s guide.
  4. Design Guideline to establish the architectural, cultural, social character and quality of the natural and built environment of a declared Heritage District.
  5. Outlines the recommendatory physical, architectural, landscape, and urban design characteristics intended for the Heritage District with the guidance of the national codes and other guidelines made for the heritage sites.
