The Analytical Testing Laboratory
The Analytical Testing Laboratory conducts testing procedures on microbiological quality, physico-chemical attributes, nutrient content, and shelf-life.
These analyses require specific equipment, devices for measurement and sanitation, standard and published procedures, and safety protocols. These are all followed to ensure that the data obtained from the analyses are valid and accurate.

To generate accurate and reliable scientific data based on the analytical methods following efficiency and industry standards.
GOALS
- To adhere to quality system standards, continuous improvement of facilities, and upgrading of equipment.
- To foster a conducive and safe working environment for the center personnel.
- To render quality service to the clients and academic community.
OBJECTIVES
- To generate analytical data and reliable results within an acceptable time and acceptable cost.
- To provide analytical testing services to the food industry, the private individuals, other government agencies, and other sectors.
- To provide technical assistance in product quality standards to food manufacturers.
- To provide technical assistance in imparting scientific development and advances in the sciences to the academe and other sectors of society.
- To ensure that all the laboratory personnel are compliant to the University quality system and are competent in conducting scientific analyses and generating accurate and reliable data.
